Nationaal Militair Museum

The National Military Museum was opened in January 2015 and has three works of Stigter in the collection. These are photos taken in Afghanistan that picture the contact between soldiers and children. The children in these images clearly symbolise hope and the possible brightness of the future. Stigter also shows children to depict reconstruction , protection and new insights. Yet, these images all have a black spot indicating the uncertainty of the future.
